Could I be the right coach for you?
Communication is the greatest passion in my life. Something I have discovered early on in my love for literature, for foreign languages and as a means to explore myself. Through facilitation and coaching I support people to communicate more honestly with themselves and more effectively with their environment. Practical orientation, sound science and a humorous approach build the foundations of my approach in personal growth. My clients work in a wide variety of industry sectors and take coaching in English, German and Italian, in presence and/or virtually.
Let’s talk about how coaching can help you deepen your self-awareness, improve your performance, and enhance the quality of your life. On the right you can book your free introductory session (20 min).

"The little things? The little moments?
They aren’t little."

“This thing of darkness I acknowledge mine.”
William Shakespeare
"Diversity is being invited to the party;
inclusion is being asked to dance."
Verna Myers
Effective leaders motivate their team to achieve a common goal. As we cannot lead others before we learn to lead ourselves, in coaching we confront the personal barriers and limiting beliefs that affect our efficacy. Nowadays a VUCA workplace requires fundamental competences, including a commitment to continuous learning, a willingness to rapid prototyping and a mindset that favours cooperation and competition. In coaching we address many of those demands, exploring topics such as growth mindset, agile methodology, performance management, delegation and resilience.
Words create worlds, but a lot can happen between the sending and the receiving of a message. The way we talk to ourselves and to others influences our behaviours and decisions. In coaching we deal with this potential minefield: negotiating, giving feedback, listening, story-telling as well as supportive elements such as clean language, non-verbal communication, emotional intelligence.
Mindfulness is the practice of meeting every moment in one’s own life as it really is – with all its richness, its ups and downs. Even if it may be a difficult habit to develop, its benefits are bountiful: it lowers stress, improves concentration, and emotional regulation and increases personal awareness and well-being. Mindfulness work with me may include meditation practise, body scanning and gratitude journaling.
All the emotions and impulses we have learnt to deny, despite their potential virtue, create the Shadow. The rejected Self simmers hidden, projecting a shadow on others and influencing our behaviour. Recognising and integrating our shadow leads to more profound self-knowledge, constructive communication and greater creativity. In Shadow Work I refer to my training and experience with gestalt, voice dialogue and positive intelligence.
Having a diverse population in the organisation and a culture that enables their diversity to thrive increases productivity, creativity and market understanding. I have been working for 20 years in cross-cultural management and in the last years supporting leaders to truly involve and empower employees from different backgrounds (gender, race, sexual orientation)
I was born and grew up in Italy. As an Italian I learnt very soon that communication happens on different levels (what I later called verbal, para-verbal and non-verbal).
No other culture, I believe, than the Italian is so rich in concepts conveyed through gestures and facial expressions.
No wonder it fascinates me!
During my “Wanderjahre” (journeyman’s years) I gratified my passion for languages and enjoyed the diverse challenges of living abroad. During this time I managed the demands of my career and of my growing family across Europe, resulting in my four children being born in different countries.
Since 2000 I have been based in Munich, Germany, albeit working on international projects for leaders of major corporations in many European countries and in China. In the last years my work has become increasingly more virtual, serving global organisations that value diversity.
I highly value in my life and in my coaching the importance of being honest, the courage to address uncomfortable truths and the commitment to rely on strong moral principles such as the ICF Code of Ethics.
I believe that everyone has the right to be treated justly. I embrace the ICF view of the client as someone capable, responsible for their own decision and ultimately the best judge on what they want in their life.
I also commit myself to valuing the unique talents, insights and experiences that every client brings to the world in a spirit of diversity and inclusion.
